A fly smears vomit and defecation on the surface of food

The way flies sit on food is worse than I thought. flies vomit and eat food because they have no teeth to burn. It is to spit out digestive enzymes and suck them while breaking down food. At this time, the enzyme compounds contained in the saliva and vomit of flies dissolve the food and decompose it enough to make it easy for flies to suck. If a fly sits in one place for a long time, it means it is continuing to eat this.

Moreover, flies defecate at the same time as they eat and lay eggs on them. It delivers pathogens that have already been buried in other secretions to the surface of the food, where the vomit decomposed in the Paris mouth is left in the food, and the residue is buried in the legs again. In this pattern, flies are the transfer of many germs.

The longer a fly stays on food, the more likely it is to transmit harmful bacteria, viruses and parasites. In fact, it is known that flies carry cholera, dysentery, and infectious diseases such as typhoid. According to a Pennsylvania State University study, at least 65 types of diseases can be transferred due to "house flies" alone.

If a fly really sits and flies in a second or two, you can just eat it, but if you don't feel good, you can not eat it. In fact, we don't know how much germs would have been transferred in a few seconds.

The food that flies sit on, it's not a health threat

Although flies can carry everything from infectious diseases to many bacteria and parasites, they pose no significant threat to healthy people. In fact, the risk of getting sick from eating food sitting on flies is relatively low.

Dr. Cameron Webb, an American food sanitation expert, explains, "It is unlikely that any bacteria transmitted by flies will make humans sick." A single contact does not affect healthy people very much, and the human immune system can sufficiently overcome these bacteria.

However, Dr. Webb explains, "The risk of bacterial transmission by flies varies considerably depending on where in the world." According to his research, flies living in urban areas are more harmful than those in rural areas. This is because in rural areas, the population tends to be limited because disinfectants and other chemicals are present that are sprayed while farming. Paris is also more dangerous in developing countries. This is because these areas are often infected with diseases such as cholera and typhus after consuming contaminated food.

Accordingly, Dr. Webb suggested, "If there are flies on the food in some countries or regions, it is better not to eat it from a precautionary point of view," adding, "It is better to at least remove the part that was sitting."
