Street Fighter 6 Contest Suspended After Chun-Li Nude Mod Exposure

The tournament resumed after the mod was removed.

Since its release, Street Fighter 6 has become extremely popular. The game logged over 1 million players within 3 days of release, and Capcom is aiming for Street Fighter 6 to sell 10 million copies.

However, some fans liked the game so much, especially the characters, that they made a mod where the female fighters were dressed in loose-fitting clothing or completely undressed.

Chun-Li, a series regular character, was targeted by these mods, causing her classic blue Chinese robe to come off and leaving her to wear nothing. I won't criticize the way people play video games in private at home, but one player had the worst time during a live Twitch tournament by accidentally leaving the mod on.

In the second round match between Kimberly and Chun-Li during the tournament, Chun-Li appeared in a nude mode, and commentators said that she couldn't hide her laughter when the match started, and the video cuts out during the gameplay scene.

Commentators tried to keep their composure at the start of this fun tournament, and the screen quickly switched from match screen to bracket screen.

@Capcom

One of the commentators said: "That Chun-Li costume is interesting."

Due to Twitch's strict community guidelines regarding nudity and sexuality, the broadcast VOD containing that clip has been removed from the platform, and your channel may be removed if Twitch determines so. As of this writing, Corner2Corner is still active, so the channel may have avoided being accidentally deleted.
